Gaurishankar Multiple Campus was established in 1981 (2038 B.S.), which is located in Bhimeshwor Township 1, Charikot, Dolakha District in Nepal. It is the first community campus in Dolakha and has served many underserved and disadvantaged students. It is affiliated with the Tribhuvan Univesity (TU) and the National Examinations Board (NEB). It is also recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Nepal.
The Gaurishankar Multiple Campus offers high quality education at a very nominal price with standard facilities. It offers Ten Plus Two (Management, Humanities and Humanities), Bachelor’s (BA, BBS, B.Ed.) and Master’s (M.Ed. at EPM, MBS) programs. It has experienced and dedicated teachers. Master of Business Studies (MBS), M.Ed Education Planning and Management, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Ten plus two (+2) Management Ten plus two (+2) Humanities and Ten More two (+2) education.
Along with MBS, postgraduate (M.Ed) from the Faculty of Education in Gaurishankar is also taught. The main courses in Nepali, English, Educational Planning and Management are taught at the Faculty of Education. The campus is also requesting permission for a Master of Sociology (MA Sociology) faculty from the Faculty of Humanities.
At the undergraduate level, the humanities, education and management are taught in the three faculties of the Gaurishankar campus. In addition, classes 11 and 12 are also taught. According to campus deputy director Subash Rimal, 1,100 students study on campus annually and 30 teachers and professors teach.
